DiLoreto, Adio A. Sr, of Quincy, passed away January 20, 2013.
Beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Downey) Loving father of Nicholas P. DiLoreto of Quincy, Paula M. Foley of Marshfield, Betty A. Isaac of Belmont, NH, and Adio A. DiLoreto, Jr of Quincy. Brother of Gildo DiLoreto of Florida, and the late Mario DiLoreto. Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and also many nieces and nephews.
Mr. DiLoreto was an Electronic Technician for many years. During World War II, he was a Sr. Radar technician for the War Department. He was also the President of Electronic Technician Guild Boston Chapter from 1963-1964. He was the Director of the first T.V. Broadcast in New England. Mr. DiLoreto was also a member of the Braintree Lodge of Elks. He taught radio and T.V. repair for many years at Quincy Vocational High School.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
