Adele Delores (Ruzzano) Amico of Weymouth, passed away peacefully September 28, 2022. She was 87 years and 364 days old.
Adele was born in Boston and was a graduate of Girls High School Class of 1952 and then went on to attend Burdett College. She worked in banking and as a legal secretary at various places but her passion was hairdressing. She was a talented piano and accordion player and loved studying her bible. Adele was the designated baby-sitter of the family and her greatest joy was time spent with her family.
Daughter of the late Peter and Anna Ruzzano (Costa). Beloved wife of Angelo A. Amico of Weymouth. Devoted mother of Stephen Amico and his wife Dori, and Christopher Amico and his wife Christine all of Hanson, and the late Peter Amico and his wife Jeanine of Everett. She was the sister of the late Peter Ruzzano, and Anthony Ruzzano. Adoring “Nana” to 8 grandchildren; Matthew, Amanda, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Rachael, Angela, Anthony, and Jason and 3 great-grandchildren; Parker, Paige and Emerson, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 11 – 2PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) , Weymouth. Burial will be private.
