Lopez, Ashley C. of Quincy, passed away April 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a two year battle with cancer.
Beloved daughter of Kevin and Diane (Lopez) Dunner of Quincy. Cherished sister of Marc and his wife Ashlynne of Sharon, Alex of Weymouth and Amanda the sister of her heart. Devoted aunt of Dylan, Henry, Parker, Mattie, and Arianna. Loving niece of Mary Ellen, Eileen and her husband Joe and Cecilia and her husband Franco. Cherished cousin of Raymond and his wife Jess, Nathan, Helena, Matthew, Belinda, Deavin and Davian. Loving goddaughter of Debbie and Dino.
Ashley loved her family and friends with all her heart, pets Pepe, Mittens and Zues, listening to music, attending Halsey concerts, meeting Halsey was one of the highlights of her life, watching movies, her favorites The Parent Trap and Maid in Manhattan, backyard cookouts with family and friends, vacations on the Cape, the Quincy Flag Day Parade, all things purple and butterflies. She is a graduate of North Quincy High School which she attended as a special needs student making many lasting friendships with students and teachers. She always faced life’s challenges with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Ashley C. Lopez may be made to the “Pediatric Hematology Oncology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital in support of Child Life”.
