Keith L. “Nellie” Nelson

Keith L. “Nellie” Nelson of Braintree, passed away February 16, 2023. He was 87 years old.

He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Nelson (Kelly).

Born in Granite City, Illinois to the late Emmett and Maude Nelson (Parsons). He worked for Stop and Shop for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Beloved father of Joanne Moloney of ME, Michael Nelson and his wife Carol of FL and Donna Nelson of Weymouth.  Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Eldon Nelson, and brother in-law of Michael Kelly and his wife Susan of Braintree and the late Richard Kelly and his surviving wife Sally of Braintree. He was the former husband of Janice Nelson of Weymouth. He will also be missed by many extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 10-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Burial to follow in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.
