Theresa “Tessi” Lamarre

Theresa L. “Tessi” LaMarre of Abington, passed away at home surrounded by her loving sister and brother-in-law; Lee and Tom Damore and her nephew and niece Gavin and Emily Damore, on December 23, 2022. She was 65 years old.

Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Ann “Nancy” LaMarre. Tessi was raised and educated in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High School Class of 1979. She had a very busy social life and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her girls’ nights with the “Peeps”. She loved getting her haircut, having her nails painted, going bowling, days at Mayflower Beach in Dennis MA, swimming, watching Red Sox Baseball and Dunkin Donuts coffee. She also loved watching her favorite shows, The Partridge Family, The Brady Bunch and The Golden Girls. Her open arms and smile will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all.

Beloved sister of Michael LaMarre and his wife Katie of GA, Richard LaMarre and his partner Janine LeBlanc of Marshfield, Robert LaMarre and his wife Donna of Whitman, Suzanne Irons and her husband Blake of Weymouth, Lee-Anne Damore and her husband Tom of Abington, Paul LaMarre and his wife Sharon of GA, and Janice Eckert and her husband Eric of AZ. Adoring Aunt of Steven, Michelle, Kelly, Kristin and Krissy. Tessi also leaves behind many extended family members and friends, especially her Uncle Joe and Aunt Ginny and her friends, staff and community of The Arc of the South Shore in Weymouth, of which she was a part of for over 40 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday January 6, 2023, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Bridget’s Church, Abington at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
