Massah, Nasrin of Brighton, died March 21, 2021.
Nasrin was born December 1961, the sixth girl in the family, she was very smart, hard working with lots of dreams and ambitions.
After high school, she left her home country in the search of a better life. She went to Canada, studied computer science and then seeking job opportunities, traveled to the United States.
She was married to Mr. Sayed Shahrouzi in 1992, and has two beautiful children, Gabriel and Jacob. After the marriage ended, she has nurtured her sons with all her heart and love. As a single mom handling two young children one with autism, it was a difficult time, and she had no family member to help and support her in Boston.
She worked very hard night shifts and saved as much as she could for herself and her children. All that mattered and meant to her was related to her children, Gabriel and Jacob.
She was diagnosed with dementia and she was left alone in the house where she has lived for many years, with all the memories of her children. Her dementia got worse and worse. On rainy cold days she would walk all the way to Gabriel’s school to see him.
Although she was placed in a wonderful nursing home, without her children it was like a prison., She wanted her old house with all the fond memories of her children. As her disease progressed, her ability to live her life as she desired was beyond her ability. However, she always held dearly to the love of her children.
She has been a fighter throughout her life. She as well earned her peace. We pray to God for eternal rest as He welcomes home his long suffering servant.
Services are from 2PM – 4PM at the Keohane Funeral Home Quincy, MA and Nasrin will be buried in her family cemetery in Tehran, Iran.
