Barbara J. (Moore) Painter of Quincy, died January 25, 2021. The beloved wife of 40 years to Lawrence “Larry” Painter of Quincy. Stepmother of Christopher Painter and his wife Romana of Danvers. Sister of Myrtie Mott of Tallahassee, FL, Nell Holland of Brownwood, TX and John Moore of Starkville, MS. Cherished grandmother to Shane, Kelvin and Alexa, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Barbara worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines for 47 years. She was fortunate to have traveled the world with some of the highlights being  having walked the great wall of China, being baptized in the River Jordan,  visiting Rome, her favorite city, over 40 times as well as flying our troops to Afghanistan and Iraq as they were being deployed. She and Larry loved to travel and enjoyed many memorable cruises around the world. Barbara will be remembered for her beauty both inside and out. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
