Claire F. Spano

Claire F. (Gallagher) Spano of Weymouth, died July 4, 2018 at the age of 90.

Claire was a remarkable woman who loved to paint and belonged to several art associations. She enjoyed Bingo, Yahtzee, bowling and playing cards each week with her dear friends. She was a gift to everyone who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Domenic A. Spano. Loving mother of Karen M. Spano of Weymouth, Michael F. Spano and wife Geraldine of Rockland, Patricia M. Crosby and husband Edwin, and Rosemary Spano Wilson, all of Weymouth. Cherished “Nana” of  Bryan Spano, Christine Egan, Christopher Wilson, and Michael K. Wilson; her great grandchildren Collin Spano, Jake Egan, Kaylee Egan, and Benjamin Egan; and her great great granddaughter Brooklyn Spano. Sister of the late James Gallagher and his late wife Eleanor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 PM. Donations in memory of Claire may be made to the Weymouth Food Pantry, PO Box 890009, Weymouth, MA 02189.
