Marie Idamante Mesidor

Mesidor, Marie Idamante (Ceac) of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, died March 31, 2017 at the age of 82.

Affectionately known as Mante Ida, she devoted her life to caring for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity by all who loved her.

She was the wife of the late Magloire Mesidor. Loving mother of Magarette Nevilus of Orlando, FL, Marie Jeanne Rosia Mesidor of Orlando, FL, Marie Deslourdes Mesidor and husband Jean Garcia Joseph of Montreal, Canada, Joseph Wilnord Mesidor of Orlando, FL, Bienne Jean Philippe of Philadelphia, PA, and Naromie Mesidor of Hyde Park. Sister of Maxime Ceac of Haiti, Pierre Ceac, Magella Ceac, and Dieu Donne Ceac, all of Miami, FL. Devoted grandmother of Valerie, Jordan, Daphney, Stephanie, Stephen, Rodney-Stephan, Stanley, Skyler, Wilchard, Rashid, Windzaire, Samorah, Dardia, Darlie, Dave, Debbie and Junia. Great-grandmother of Aiden. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Devoted friend to all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, April 8th from 11 AM -1 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a funeral service at 1 PM in the funeral home. Following the service, guests are invited to attend a luncheon at Campanale’s Restaurant, 88 Pearl Street, Braintree, MA 02184.
