Thomas Rooney

 Thomas  Rooney of Carver formerly of Quincy, died March 25, 2016.The beloved husband of the late Elaine (Mahoney) Rooney. Father of  Linda Duane and her husband Brian of South Weymouth, Thomas Rooney and his wife Jennifer of Scituate. Brother of  Paul Rooney of Quincy and the late Dorothy Donovan, William, Robert and James Rooney. Grandfather of Evan, Brendan, Connor. Kevin, Chelsey and Taylor. Great Grandfather of Lily. 

Tom worked as a custodian for Quincy Public Schools for many years. He was a member of the Quincy Custodial Union #4350 as well as a member of the Teamsters Union Local #25. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era.  He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family. Tom will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 Noon in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St. (off Rt. 3A-Bicknell Sq.), Weymouth.

Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
