Mary Elizabeth Burke

Burke, Mary Elizabeth (Cotter) lifelong resident of Weymouth, passed away March 12, 2015.

Beloved daughter of the late Lorraine M. (Wood) and John F. Cotter. Loving wife of 30 years to David Burke of South Weymouth.  Cherished mother of Steven Burke and his wife Brittany of Plymouth, Kellianne and Laura Burke both of South Weymouth. Loving sister of Michael Cotter of Weymouth, John Cotter of Bellingham, Judy Hudak of South Carolina, Jim Cotter of Maryland, Bill Cotter of Natick and the late David Cotter. Dear grandmother of Nathanial Ryan Burke.  Mary is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary loved walking in support of various fundraising events and spending time with her family and friends. She loved riding on David’s Harley Davidson, especially to Laconia, for Bike Week. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
