Ann M. Walsh

Walsh, Ann M. of Hingham, died October 5, 2014.

Ann was a very compassionate and generous woman. She was committed to her family and to those going through difficult times and always happy to lend a hand. She loved children and adored her two granddaughters, who were the light of her life. She was very proud of her Irish culture and enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. She was a longtime employee of the Schindler Elevator Company. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Born and raised in Dorchester, Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (McDonough) Walsh. Devoted mother of Ann Marie (Farrell) Schembri and her husband Frank of Hingham. Doting grandmother to Kate and Elizabeth Schembri. Loving sister of Mary Machaby of Holbrook, Joseph Walsh of Boca Raton, FL, Sr. Barbara Joseph Walsh of Wellsley, Thomas Walsh of W. Roxbury, Stephen Walsh of Roslindale, and the late Michael Walsh of Alexandria, VA .  Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass Wednesday in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
