Harmer, Donald Wayne of Hull, formerly of E. Bridgewater, died suddenly July 4, 2014.
Donald was born in Boston then was raised and educated in Dedham. He loved his work as a teacher in the Whitman schools and through this career, met Emily, his wife of 28 years. Donald was a 32nd Degree Mason and enjoyed reading, skiing, umpiring community baseball games, and all types of Boston sports. Donald was loved by all and will be missed by many for his kindness and his outgoing personality.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife Emily Harmer (Correnti) of Hull, His loving son Nicholas Harmer of Hull, and his brother Allen “Ken” Harmer with his wife Evelyn of Gloucester. Donald is also survived by his sister-in-law Frances Ailinger with her husband Joseph of Norwood and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 AM in East Bridgewater United Methodist Church. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
