Alice M. Gillis

Gillis, Alice M. (Fraher), 90, of Quincy, died September 26, 2013 at the Coyne Healthcare Center where she has resided for the last 4 years. 

Alice’s family was the center of her life and she focused all of her love on her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially day trips and weekend get-away’s.  Shopping and Bingo were her other hobbies.  She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother and will be remembered for her selfless and loving manner. 

Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Gillis.  Loving mother of A. Joseph Gillis of Quincy, Patricia DeThomaso of Quincy, Dianne DeThomaso of Weymouth, Robert Gillis of Hanover, Corinne Donadio of Weymouth, and Debra Weish of FL.  Sister of Jean Quintiliani of Braintree, and the late Jack Fraher, Dorothy Eiserman, Robert Fraher, Margaret Peterson, and William Fraher. Grandmother of 8 grandchildren, including 2 who are deceased. Great grandmother to 11, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
