Ronald S. Chancey, 61, of Brockton, died peacefully at home on April 10, 2013 after battling pancreatic cancer.

Ron was employed for 32 years by Atlas Glen-mor. He was an accomplished guitar player and an avid photographer.

Loving Father of Elizabeth A. Powers and her husband, David, of Middleboro, and Joshua E. Chancey of Woonsocket, R.I. Beloved Fiancé of Mary-Lynn Janssen of Brockton. Loving Brother of Kenneth Chancey and his wife Felecia, James Chancey, honorary brother of George Lincoln, Bubba Brown, Bobby C. and all of his Band family. Devoted Grampy of Samantha Paakkinen and Matthew Mahon, Matthew Cardoso and Stephen Chancey. Great Grampy of Ally, Skyla, and Jaxson Mahon. Former husband of Christine J. Chancey of Randolph. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his beloved Alabama family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, April 21 from 2- 6 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seasons Hospice, 275 Grove Street, Newton, MA 02466.
