John Joseph Killilea

Killilea, John Joseph, 88, of Hanson, died peacefully February 3, 2013 at South Shore Hospital. He served in the 411th Infantry regiment in France during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism and the Purple Heart. He worked as a Sales Manager in the dry cleaning industry for 35 years and later as a Department Manager at the Westin Hotel in Boston until his retirement. 

 Predeceased by his beloved wife, Norma Louise (Roeblad) in 1993, they were married in 1947. Survived and lovingly remembered by son Robert B. Killilea and his fiancé, Karen M. Jordan of Hanson, daughter Linda J. Reeve of Hanson, daughter Paula J. Killilea of New Seabury, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 12 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
