Kathleen E. Doherty

Doherty, Kathleen E. of Malden, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2013 at home.

Beloved daughter of the late Bernard J. and Marguerite M. Doherty. Loving sister of Joseph P. Doherty and his wife Betsy of Quincy and Mary L. Sparke and her husband William of Delaware. Devoted aunt of Laura Jane Doherty of Quincy, Jonathan Sparke and his wife Adrienne and Matthew Sparke all of PA.

Kathleen grew up in Milton and graduated from St. Agatha grammar school and Cardinal Cushing Central High School. Most of her working career was in the Insurance Industry before joining the Department of Children and Family Services for the state of Massachusetts where she was still employed at the time of her death. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St Agatha Church, at 9 AM.  Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.  In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to a charity of your choice.
