Gillis, Donald S. of Hull, died September 2, 2018.

Donald served his country in the U.S. Marines and later became a teacher at Brockton High School.  Education meant everything to Don and he currently holds a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University, Masters in Business Administration from University of CT, Masters in Education from Bridgewater State University, and was currently working on his PhD at Bridgewater State University.  He also taught an OSHA course for the MA Carpenter’s Union.  He loved animals, reading, learning, politics, carpentry, and hockey.  He will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, strength, and his love for his students.

Loving husband of Lana M. Konstantinov – Gillis of Halifax.  Beloved son of Donald A. Gillis, and Loraine A. (Bazinet) Gillis of Hull.  Brother of Dan Gillis of Millis, Jeanne Pierce of NH, Judy Gillis of Quincy, and Janet Gillis of Marshfield.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and his beloved pets Brooklyn, Roxanne, George, Rupert, and Erik.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.  His funeral service will follow on Friday at 7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham.
